What if life has sent her an ultimate challenge, that of becoming handicapped? Would she be strong enough to continue moving forward?". An image of Natalia with a bionic leg is a somewhat shocking reality that this could happen to any of us, any day, and Natalia's honest answer that she is unsure of the outcome of her life if it were to be changed in such a dramatic way, emphasises how strong are those who never gave up and made the most out of their reality - Paralympians.
The cast of "12 Years A Slave" their Oscar win for Best Picture The 2014 Oscar ceremony was one that I really enjoyed. The movie that impacted me the most throughout the year happened to be "12 Years A Slave" - as the performance by Lupita Nyong'o in that movie brought me to tears. A part of me would love to hear what happened to Patsey (the character she played in the movie) even though I'm sure that this information wouldn't please me. Cate Blanchett won best female actress for her performance in "Blue Jasmine" which was directed by Woody Allen. Lupita Nyong'o won best performance by a female actress. Matthew McConaughey won best male actor and his co-star Jared Leto won best supporting actor for their performances in "Dallas Buyers Club."
Gravity won a total of seven Oscars, mainly in visual and editing categories. "12 Years A Slave" won best picture, which was directed by Steve McQueen. |
