It was not too long ago that the Oklahoma City Thunder were heading to the NBA Finals to play for a NBA Championship against the Miami Heat, led by Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh - because it wasn't long ago! It was just Three Years Ago! Three Years! The Thunder suffered from one of the most injury prone seasons by it's players as the league MVP Kevin Durant suffered from injuries throughout the season, as well as Russell Westbrook, a Finalist for the NBA MVP this season, and also suffered losing key role players such as Kendrick Perkins, Thabo Sefolosha, and several more that I can name.
Less thank a week ago, Sports Illustrated reported that Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were in full support of their Head Coach Scott Brooks returning for another season, and today Yahoo! Sports announced that Scott Brooks would not be returning next season to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
We don't think that Scott Brooks will last on the free agency market for long, and, at the same token, their has to be head coaches around the country lining up for the Job at Oklahoma City.
