NextPlay is hosting their one year anniversary and invites you to share a toast with them on November 8th to celebrate a year of their accomplishments. NextPlay has gone from 0-4000 members, produced 11 events that led them to double digit hires, and have partnered with 17+ major tech companies. The event will take place from 6pm-10pm at the E-Sports arena in Oakland, Ca. The event has an 800 person capacity and admission will be facilitated on a rolling basis. Parsons Avenue Redevelopment Corporation is hosting their fourth annual fundraising event on October 25th. Shannon Hardin, the President of Columbus City Council will be the keynote speaker at the event. The goal of the event is to connect people to Parsons Avenue, a nonprofit organization that is aiming to change the south side of Columbus. There will be food and refreshments served and the event will go from 5:30-7:30pm. Any donations made during the event will help support the redevelopment of Parsons Avenue.
