A Star is Born has been remade a couple of times over the years. The last rendition starred Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. The newest rendition releasing October 5th stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Bradley Cooper plays Jackson Maine, a famous singer who is dealing with alcoholism. Jackson discovers Ally (Lady Gaga) who is a younger singer and actress. Jackson helps Ally rise to fame even if it means a downward spiral to his own career.
