 Born and raised in South London, Kweng has been rapping and writing lyrics as early as 12. He came up in the scene as a member of Drill collective, ‘Zone 2’, and was renowned for his distinctive high-energy flows, uncompromising bars and witty punchlines. Kweng became a household name following the release of ‘3 Stripes’ in 2018, still considered one of the most highly regarded tracks in UK Drill. His reputation continued to spread following the release of the contentious single ‘No Censor’, which ended up being removed by YouTube, initiating cancelled shows and an injunction, forcing Kweng to question his future within the music.
