How Atlanta, Georgia’s Belly Gang Kushington Landed 21 Savage on “WTF Goin”

A snippet, a reach-out from London and a Magic City wings order: the Adamsville rapper’s breakout year, explained.

“WTF Goin” is the June 19, 2026 single from Belly Gang Kushington, the rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, and it features 21 Savage. The Magic City-shouting anthem gave Belly his first Billboard Hot 100 entry, has passed 100 million streams worldwide and comes with an official video that opens with the two rappers landing a helicopter at the club.

What is “WTF Goin” with 21 Savage?

It started as a short snippet Belly posted online. 21 Savage heard it while he was in London, reached out directly and cut his verse once he got home, with no label managers or middlemen involved, according to Belly. Belly co-produced the horn-heavy beat with Musik MajorX, Kutta Beatz, B100 and Squat Beats. The hook is a challenge: who actually has the money and respect to matter? The verses run through Atlanta roots, past hustling and plans to buy back a property he once rented, and 21 delivers one of his sharper guest spots in a while. A TikTok dance trend carried it beyond Atlanta, and Complex reports it peaked at No. 43 on the Hot 100. There is also an alternate “Magic City Edition” cut of the video.

Who is Belly Gang Kushington?

Belly Gang Kushington is Victor Thomas, raised by his father in the Adamsville neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. He started rapping in 2020, dropped a string of local singles like “5pm in Atlanta,” and signed with Love Renaissance (LVRN) in late 2024. His debut album, The Streets Is Yours, arrived April 25, 2025. The breakout was the “Friend Do” remix with YKNiece, which hit No. 20 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs and became a fixture in Atlanta clubs by the end of 2025.

Belly Gang Kushington’s breakout year

2026 has been stacked. Billboard named him Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month in March, he earned a BET Award nomination for Best New Artist in May, and he landed on the 2026 XXL Freshman list in June. In September, he and BigXthaPlug announced a joint single, “LITE.” Then the wings came full circle: Magic City Kitchen permanently renamed its 10-piece lemon pepper wings meal “Belly Gang,” a nod to the “WTF Goin” lyric that already had TikTok arguing over who serves Atlanta’s best wings.
