Blake Shelton's final Voice champion follows his 2025 Mercury Nashville debut with Beers and Ballads, a 10-track album out Sept. 18, 2026.
Woodstock, Georgia country singer Bryce Leatherwood, the season 22 winner of The Voice, is back with Beers and Ballads, set for release Sept. 18, 2026, according to its Spotify, Audiomack, and iHeart listings. The 10-track album follows his self-titled debut, which Mercury Nashville released on May 16, 2025, per Wikipedia.
The track list opens with "D-R-I-N-K-I-N-G" and runs through "She's Wrong, She's Right," "Grain of Salt," "I'd Be Dammed," "Let Me Have This Dance" and "One More Day (Closer to Hell)" before the title track closes it out.
Blake Shelton's last Voice win
Leatherwood won season 22 on Dec. 13, 2022, as a member of Team Blake. According to Wikipedia, he was the first winner of the show to be a Wildcard artist during the live playoffs, and it was Shelton's ninth and final win as a coach. The prize included $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group.
Born Feb. 4, 2000, and raised in Woodstock, he released his debut country radio single, "Hung Up on You," on Sept. 6, 2024. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Sept. 14, singing that song and the then-unreleased "Shenandoah." "Hung Up on You" peaked at No. 56 on Country Airplay.
Grandpa's farm and Conway Twitty
"My grandfather had me working on his farm in Macon, Georgia, while teaching me about classic country and Southern rock," he told American Songwriter. After singing in church, he listened to Conway Twitty songs in his grandfather's truck. The magazine also names George Jones and Merle Haggard among his childhood listening.
Growing up in North Georgia surrounded by mountains shaped his debut. He said he wanted to "carry that inspiration into a song that reminded me of home."
What critics heard last time
Saving Country Music reviewed the debut and wrote that "the sound is certainly country," calling it "more early 2000s traditional country" and noting that Will Bundy's production isn't exactly the hot '90s country sound. The site scored it 7 out of 10 and called "The Finger" quite clever.
Wikipedia lists "The Finger," performed on The Voice in December 2023, as his first major label single, followed by "Neon Does" and "The One My Daddy Found" in 2024. He launched the Neon Does Tour through several southern and midwestern states in April 2024 and has played Shelton's Ole Red bar chain in Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Orlando, Florida; and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
