From Digital Skills to Career Growth: Atlanta Leader Launches New Professional Development Initiative
As Atlanta employers seek stronger leadership and workplace skills, Lisa Walker Holloway launches a community learning collective to help professionals and organizations grow
ATLANTA (October 26, 2026) — As Atlanta employers place increasing value on communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, one local leader is creating new opportunities for professional development. After years of building community partnerships that supported digital skills training and workforce opportunities, Lisa Walker Holloway has launched a new initiative to help Atlantans develop the confidence and capabilities to advance their careers.
The JMC Community Leadership & Learning Collective, an expansion of JMC Career Solutions & Consulting, brings professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations together through leadership workshops, executive coaching, and collaborative learning experiences. The Collective officially launched Wednesday, October 21, at Inspiredu in Atlanta.
According to the Metro Atlanta Chamber's 2026 Talent Supply Report, leadership skills appeared in nearly 189,000 Georgia job postings, highlighting employer demand for professional capabilities alongside technical expertise.
Walker Holloway brings more than 20 years of experience in customer strategy, community engagement, project management, and professional development. Her background includes corporate external affairs and community impact work, helping connect organizations and community partners across the Southeast to resources and opportunities.
“Our communities need meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth,” said Walker Holloway, founder and CEO of JMC Career Solutions & Consulting. “My experience building community partnerships taught me that access to resources is only the beginning. Through this Collective, I want people to gain practical skills, renewed confidence, and the tools to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact.”
The launch marks a new phase for JMC, which began by providing project management and coaching to small businesses before expanding into accountability coaching for women, entrepreneurs, and emerging professionals. The Collective adds structured leadership development and peer learning to help participants translate their goals into measurable progress.
JMC's experience includes engagements with organizations such as Georgia State University, Spelman College, University 4 Parents, N’Pursuit Partners, Girls Inc., and Inspiredu.
