ABC 6 Job Boot Camp at the Aladdin Shrine Center

ABC6's Job Boot Camp was held today from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. There were over 40 employers including Burger King, Eddie Bauer, Checksmart, Speedway, Columbus Zoo, to name a few. There were military personnel on hand recruiting and answering questions. Councilman Troy Miller, who chairs the Public Service & Transportation, Small & Minority Business Development, Technology, and Zoning Committees, played a large and important role in the job fair.

The workshops were very helpful as they featured experts sharing knowledgeable tips on resume building, interviewing, and career advice. Over 500 people came in and out of the Aladdin Shrine Center, most appearing elated after leaving the high energy room! Employers and helpers of the event were fed lunch provided by the organizers.
