"War Over Land" follows lead single "babygirl" and was written, produced, and mixed entirely by JPEGMAFIA himself. The track takes aim at the superficiality of posturing on the internet in contrast to the horrors of real-world tragedy. The music video more than rises to the occasion. Co-directed by JPEGMAFIA and Logan Fields, the clip is constructed to look like a single continuous tracking shot — with Peggy walking through a field and past a series of arresting, provocative images that bring the song's themes to vivid life. The accompanying video delves deeper into the song's themes through one single, unbroken camera shot.

Coming off I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU and collaborations with artists ranging from Beyoncé to Flume, JPEGMAFIA continues bending mainstream attention toward his own uncompromising frequency rather than adapting to theirs. With EXPERIMENTAL RAP, he shows no signs of softening that approach.

This fall, JPEGMAFIA will embark on The Experimental Rap Tour, a 20-date North American run with support from redveil and matt proxy, kicking off September 22 in Spokane, WA.
