OneByZero Raises $20M Series A Led by Jungle Ventures to Scale Enterprise AI
The Singapore firm embeds engineers inside banks, telcos and retailers, and is taking outside capital for the first time after three years of doubling revenue.
OneByZero, a Singapore-based company that deploys artificial intelligence inside large and regulated enterprises, has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by Jungle Ventures. The round is the company's first outside funding, coming after three years of building its business on revenue from enterprise customers.
The raise lands as big companies across Asia Pacific struggle with a familiar problem: AI pilots are easy to start and hard to turn into systems that run day to day. OneByZero is betting that the fix is less about the model and more about the engineering work required to wire it into a business.
What OneByZero Does
OneByZero uses a forward-deployed model. Its engineers work on site with a customer's teams to identify the use cases worth pursuing, build AI into existing workflows and systems, and keep improving those deployments once they are live. Its customers so far sit mainly in financial services, telecommunications and retail, sectors where compliance and legacy infrastructure tend to slow new technology down.
Behind those teams is NEO, the company's AI deployment platform. NEO provides governance controls and audit trails, and it manages what OneByZero calls AI Coworkers: AI agents assigned defined roles and limits so that a regulated business can track what each one is allowed to do.
Traction Before the Raise
The company says its revenue has more than doubled every year for the past three years. It also reports that some deployments have automated more than 90% of certain customer-facing interactions, and that its work has cut delivery time on complex data modernization projects by half. Those figures are the company's own.
OneByZero currently operates in nine markets: Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. It was founded by CEO Niket Vaidya and CTO Vibhore Kumar.
How the Money Will Be Used
The new capital will go toward expanding the forward-deployed engineering teams in the markets where the company already works, and toward opening operations in Japan. According to Tech Edition, OneByZero also plans to move into additional industries, including conglomerates, healthcare and the public sector, while continuing to develop NEO and its AI Coworkers.
Vaidya has framed the opportunity around execution. Access to capable AI is now widely available, in his view, and the value shows up only once it is running inside the systems a business depends on.
Why It Matters
Enterprise AI spending has shifted from experimentation toward production, and that shift favors firms that can do the integration work. The forward-deployed approach, pairing software with engineers who sit alongside the customer, has become one of the more closely watched models in the sector because it addresses the gap between a working demo and a governed system in production.
For Jungle Ventures, one of Southeast Asia's most active venture firms, the deal is a bet that the region's banks, telcos and retailers will pay for that help. For OneByZero, a $20 million Series A after three years of customer-funded growth gives it the resources to hire ahead of demand and test its model in Japan, one of the largest enterprise technology markets in Asia.
