paganini's "Il Cannone" is in columbus!
The treasured violin will be on display at the Columbus Museum of Art. Come see Columbus Symphony Concertmaster, Joanna Frankel, play the beloved instrument on Wednesday, May 15.
Niccoló Paganini is known as one of the founding fathers of the modern violin technique. He is known best for his 24 Caprices for Solo Violin Op. 1. compositions and is a beloved artist. The violin was refitted in 1960 for modern playing and now travels the world to be enjoyed by music lovers everywhere. This violin has since received extensive use by some of the world's best violinists and is now coming to Columbus!
