Reco Raises $55M to Secure the AI Agents Running Inside Company Software
AT&T Ventures joins the Series C extension after the platform found 21,000 unknown agents at one Fortune 100 customer.
Reco, a security company that tracks what AI agents are doing inside a company's software, has raised $55 million in a Series C extension with participation from AT&T Ventures, Forestay and Quadrille Capital. Total funding now stands at $140 million.
The company is led by co-founder and CEO Ofer Klein.
Finding the Agents Nobody Approved
Reco builds a context graph mapping which agents can reach which applications, people, accounts and permissions, across more than 280 SaaS integrations.
The problem it addresses is discovery. Employees connect agents to company systems without telling security, and those agents inherit real permissions. At one Fortune 100 customer, Reco says it found 21,000 agents nobody knew about. At a financial services firm, it identified a rogue agent reaching into Salesforce.
"The market demand right now for agent security is not only about the agent itself; it's about the entire ecosystem end-to-end," Klein said.
Growth
Reco says it has more than 100 customers, roughly 40% of them in financial services and including Fortune 100 companies. Annual recurring revenue is in the double-digit millions and the company expects it to triple this year.
Its valuation has more than doubled since a Series B in February. The funding goes toward hiring, sales, partnerships and customer support.
A Crowded Field
Agent security has become one of the most contested corners of cybersecurity, with established SaaS security vendors and a wave of startups all claiming the category. TechCrunch framed the raise against exactly that crowding.
Reco's argument is its starting point: it built SaaS discovery and posture management before agents were the story, and that integration footprint is what lets it see agent activity across applications rather than in one vendor's silo.
Why It Matters
Security teams spent a decade learning to inventory SaaS applications employees signed up for without approval. Agents are the same problem with higher stakes, because an agent does not just hold data, it takes actions.
An unknown agent with Salesforce write access is an operational risk, not a compliance footnote, and 21,000 of them at a single company explains why buyers are moving fast enough to triple a vendor's revenue in a year.
