Rich The Kid Flips Blondie on "Calling My Line" — and His Comeback Era Is Officially Here

A Blondie sample, a fever-dream visual, and a new album on deck — RTK is back and he means business.

Rich The Kid returns with "Calling My Line," a high-energy new single that samples Blondie's iconic "Call Me" and serves as a preview of his upcoming album C'est La Vie.

The official video, directed by French creative collective Bleu Désert and produced by HENRY, unfolds as a phone conversation between Rich The Kid and a chameleon-like switchboard operator played by Khleopatre — from her control desk, she connects and disconnects lines, propelling him from one setting and timeline to another in a VHS-soaked fever dream.

The film moves through a series of tableaux punctuated by inserts of iconic pop culture figures on the phone, their images reworked to lip-sync the track's lyrics. Rich The Kid blends the legendary Blondie melody with his signature trap sound, creating a record that feels both nostalgic and unmistakably now — a bold opening statement for his next chapter.
