Rolling Loud's Official DJ, DJ Five Venoms, Is Bringing the Festival Tour to India

Some artists headline Rolling Loud. DJ Five Venoms is the person who makes sure it never stops. The festival's official DJ is on the Saturday, December 12 bill at Rolling Loud India in Mumbai.

From Philly clubs to festival fixture

According to a profile in Okayplayer, he built his craft in the Philadelphia scene, DJing clubs in Philly and Atlantic City, then moved to Orlando to attend Full Sail University. There he DJed for Orlando artist Wes Fif and met Rolling Loud founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif. He became their DJ for Miami shows, was part of the first Rolling Loud, and eventually became the festival's official DJ.

What the job actually is

Okayplayer describes him as the official tour DJ, best known for stepping in when artists run late or do not show. He also curates his own stage and plays tastemaker, booking guest artists he wants to showcase. In an interview on The Bootleg Kev Show he talked about spotlighting local talent in each city and reading a crowd.

The moment that went viral

His "R&B Ain't Dead" set at Rolling Loud California 2025, featuring Eric Bellinger, took off online as proof that R&B can hold a festival crowd.

Why that matters in Mumbai

A DJ whose stated mission is to highlight local talent is a smart fit for a lineup that blends Burna Boy and Metro Boomin with Indian acts like Dhanda Nyoliwala and Paal Dabba. Variety India lists him on Day One. Expect a set that moves fast and reads the room.
