Seedhe Maut at Rolling Loud India: The Tracks to Know Before Delhi's Rap Heavyweights Hit Mumbai

Calm and Encore ABJ went from Delhi battle-rap circles to Glastonbury.

If Indian hip-hop has a lyrical heavyweight pairing, it's Seedhe Maut. The Delhi duo plays Rolling Loud India on Sunday, December 13 in Mumbai, per Time Out India. Here's your crash course.

Two MCs, one cypher

Seedhe Maut is Siddhant Sharma (Calm), from Nainital, and Abhijay Negi (Encore ABJ), from Pauri Garhwal. They met in 2015 at Spit Dope Inc., a Delhi underground battle-rap league in Hauz Khas Village, after Calm's freestyle caught Encore's attention, per their Wikipedia entry.

The discography

Start with Bayaan (December 2018), their acclaimed debut album produced by Sez on the Beat, led by "Shaktimaan." Follow with Nayaab (2022), which includes "Anaadi," winner of Best Music Video at the Radio City Freedom Awards. Then Lunch Break (2023), a more mainstream-leaning mixtape with "Khatta Flow," "11K," "Asal G" and "Luka Chuppi," which made Mint's list of the 10 best albums of 2023.

Collabs worth a listen

"Nanchaku" with MC Stan and "No Enema" with Foreign Beggars (both from the 2021 mixtape เคจ), "Chalo Chalein" with Ritviz (2019), and "Bajenge" with Badshah (2024). They also did Shakti and Kshama in 2024, two EPs inspired by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar's poem.

Big stage energy

They performed at Glastonbury in June 2025 and toured 15 Indian cities on the SMX India Tour in late 2025. They also run their own label, DL91, which put out the compilation DL91 FM in May 2025.

Why see them live? Because dense, fast, punchline-packed Hindi rap hits hardest in a crowd shouting every bar back.
