The Story of Tim Anderson, MLB player with Chicago White Sox | Episode 1 - 5
Tim Anderson was the shy, quiet kid who used sports to escape other things going on in his life. Tim was a pass-first point guard and a lockdown defender. After battling through multiple leg injuries, the two-sport athlete at Hillcrest High School came close to hanging it up before his senior basketball season.
With encouragement from head coach, Scott Suttles, he stepped up and helped lead the Patriots to a Class 6A State Championship win in 2011. Even in high school, Tim Anderson embodied the mantra “big time players make big plays.”
