Ye Drops "Gemini Season" Out of Nowhere — and It's the First Taste of the Bully Deluxe
Bianca Censori returns to the director's chair, Ye and his wife go full pastoral surrealism, and the Bully deluxe lands June 19.
Leave it to Ye to drop something on a random Monday and break the internet before dinner.
"Gemini Season" is a surprise release and the first single off the forthcoming Bully deluxe, set to arrive June 19. It arrives with a music video that's already turning heads — and if you've seen the screenshot, you already know why.
The visual finds Ye and Bianca Censori front and center, set against a sweeping alpine backdrop with snow-capped peaks, dry golden fields, and a Holstein cow standing casually in frame. It's pastoral, surreal, and shot with the kind of quiet confidence that says: we know exactly what we're doing. Censori sits on a white stool in all white, Ye stands beside her in a matching cream suit — together they form a tableau that's equal parts fashion editorial, art installation, and fever dream.
The video is directed once again by Bianca Censori, who previously helmed the visuals for "Father" featuring Travis Scott — marking her as a genuine creative force in the Bully rollout, not just a muse. Two videos in, her directorial eye is already developing a distinct visual language: mythological staging, minimal dialogue, and imagery that invites interpretation more than it offers it. YouTube
The Bully deluxe on June 19 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated drops of the summer. "Gemini Season" is the opening statement — and it's a bold one.
