Who is Devin Xo?

Devin Xo is an up and coming rapper in Columbus, Oh. Devin Xo was drawn into the music industry at a young age. When he was 13 years old he had a friend who would freestyle often, and he would always create a beat on the table in class. The beats grew into freestyle, and eventually led to the career he has today. When he was growing into the music industry he was heavily influenced by the Notorious B.I.G, Kanye West, and Prince. He finds inspiration today in many great artists like Tyler the Creator, Pharrell, Quincy Jones, Motown Records, Diddy during the early 2000's, Childish Gambino, and Soulection. Devin Xo's music process begins when he becomes inspired by a beat he hears or creates. Then he finds that once he is inspired by a beat, the chorus flows out. However, he sometimes struggles to fill in the rest of  the verses because he felt like he didn't have much to say. As of late, he has been finding his voice and realizing he has more to say. Being based in Columbus, Devin Xo has found that the music scene makes artists strive for the best quality performances, music, and visuals. Devin Xo enjoys adding messages to fans in his music like to be yourself, love yourself, love others, and that its okay to be a weirdo or a black sheep.
