On October 11, Greater Columbus Sister Cities International (GCSI) held their annual meeting at the Ohio State House Atrium. The event highlighted the importance of citizen diplomacy and its role in building diverse and inclusive communities as well as celebrated the accomplishments of the GCSI. The meeting included a panel which featured NBC4 newsanchor, Colleen Marshall, current Columbus mayor, Andrew Ginther, former mayors, Michael Coleman and Greg Lashutka as well as Shannon Hardin, Columbus City Council President. In this panel Mayor Ginther talked about the decision to grow Columbus' sister city relationships and the impact that they have had on the city and community.
