Maker Hour of Code is for ages 4-104 and is part of international Hour of Code activities. Hour of Code is part of Computer Science Education Week (Dec 3-9) celebrated annually in honor of Admiral Grace Hopper - so they are going to kick things off on Saturday, Dec 1 at Franklin University running from 11am-3pm! Their mission is to inspire diverse people to design, create and make! MHOC features VR, gaming, 3D printing, digital technology, CNCs, lasers, coding activities, and much more! Maker Hour of Code was amazing last year with over a hundred families participating, and they want to widen their reach this year even more! Participate in this cool even by registering for space by Nov 1. The event is free to attend, and there are opportunities to also participate as a volunteer.
